Chad holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours degree (BFA) from the University of Windsor, School of Visual Arts in Windsor, ON.
Chad is the Gallery Director of the Leamington Arts Centre and an adjucnt professor of digital photography at the Art Institute of Michigan - Troy. He also volunteers and holds several positions on boards and committees with various Arts agenciessuch as the Windsor Endowment for the Arts.
Chad is a photographer and artist whose work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally in over sixty solo and group exhibitions. His work has been published recently in two books in addition to various magazines, newspapers and featured on the CBC evening news. Chad has won numerous awards, scholarships and assistantships based on his art and academic achievements. His most recent is the Graduate Professional Scholarship 2009-10 and again 2010-2011. He has lectured for various groups and institutions such as the Shooters Photography Club and the Gibson Gallery. He has also judged several art and photography exhibitions. His work is permanently displayed in a variety of offices and public buildings across Windsor and Essex County including the Windsor Regional Metropolitan Hospital and the Henry Ford Hospital Innovation Institute in Detroit, MI.
